Climate Change Mitigation

The impact of climate change on utilities is becoming more and more apparent. Recent weather related disasters brought on by hurricanes, earthquakes or drought have tragically shown our vulnerability and videos or photos of people queuing for water in Puerto Rico, other Caribbean islands or Ireland have started becoming commonplace. Whether it is through contamination from flooding or loss of power causing treatment plants to fail people are waking up to the reality that climate change is real and contributes to more extreme weather events. With our partners WWWS will suggest climate change, litigation and adaption strategies.

WWWS provides workshops on how to build climate resilience into decision-making within our water and wastewater.
